  1. INSTALLING CorelWEB.DATA - TRIAL VERSION
  2. =============================================

  4. For Windows 95 or Windows NT only:
  5.  
  6. 1)  Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  7. 2)  Create a temporary directory on your system, such as c:\WEBTEMP.
  8. 3)  Using the Windows Explorer or File Manager, copy the all the files from the WEBDATA
  9.     directory of the CD-ROM to the newly created WEBTEMP directory    
  10. 4)  Double-click on the SETUP.EXE file in the WEBTEMP directory
  11. 5)  Read the installation screens to complete the installation of the Corel 
  12.     Web.DATA Trial Version
  13. 6)  Delete all the files in the WEBTEMP directory
  14.  
  15. The following steps will setup the database drivers on your system
  16. (not necessary if they are already installed by other applications):
  17.  
  18. 7)  Copy the file DAO.EXE from the WEBDATA directory of the CD-ROM to the WEBTEMP directory.
  19. 8)  Double-click on DAO.EXE in the WEBTEMP directory to inflate the compressed file.
  20. 9)  Double-click on DAOSETUP.EXE to install the DAO database engine and follow the
  21.     installation instructions.
  22. 10)  Delete all the files in the WEBTEMP directory
  23. 11) Repeat steps 7 to 10 for the ODBCSET.EXE file to expand and install the ODBC
  24.     database drivers.

  26. The following steps will install additional sample files:

  28. 12) Repeat steps 7 to 10 for the WDATAHME.EXE, WDATAIR.EXE and WDATAROS.EXE sample
  29.     recipes in the WEBDATA\RECIPES directory of the CD-ROM.
